Diane Peternel
Monthly Challenge Manager &
DT Co-Ordinator

I have been part of the team at Craft Channel Productions for over 8 years now and have been crafting much longer.
I am a keen papercrafter, knitter and crocheter, but my passion for craft started many years ago with cross stitch, so I'm really looking forward to seeing all of your creations as this challenge builds.
I'm married to my lovely hubby of over 10 years and live in beautiful Derbyshire.

I'm delighted to now introduce you to our Challenge Design Team:

I'm a freelance designer and demonstrator and the owner of one very messy craft room. I'm a chocolate addict and a great believer that a little bit of what you fancy does you good.
I love working with dies so when the Team at Tattered Lace offered me the chance to work with them I thought long and hard for all of 1 second before accepting

I am Mum to my four girls aged between 10 and 24...Grandma to the most adorable 4 year old Grandson...and I have a supportive and 'THE’ best ‘other half’. I have been paper crafting for about 10 years and before that cross stitch was my main focus. But craft has always been a part of my life and I have also dabbled in sewing…and even owned a knitting machine!
My paper crafting passion covers all sorts from clean & simple, elegant and shabby to girly grunge…you just can’t beat a morning of mess!!
J
I will also confess to being a bit of a coffeeholic, there always has to be room on my desk for my coffee cup…hence the name of my new venture ~ ‘Made with Love and Coffee’ …producing OOAK keepsakes.
My love for Tattered Lace dies began as soon as I saw them launch last year, so I can’t begin to tell you how thrilled I am to have been asked to join the team.

I have always crafted in one form or another for as long as I can remember, but found card making whilst having a relapse of M.E in 2005.
I stumbled across blog land in 2006 and have been regularly blogging since then. I am more often than not to be found at my desk in my craft room at the bottom of the garden, along with the fairies.
My passion is colouring and combining the images with Tattered Lace die cuts, I really don’t know how I would survive without them now! I also like “messy crafting” and I am often covered in ink and glue, and up to my armpits in altered art. I also sew a little and I am trying to master the art of Crochet.
Through crafting I have met some of the nicest people, that have turned into the best of friends. And I’m sure the months and years to come will bring me more new friends.
I am married to a very understanding man, who never complains and often feeds my crafty habit! We love to travel to the sun and have 3 fur babies.

Hi, my name is Debbi, and I live in South Manchester. I am an avid crafter and have been crafting ever since I can remember. I have a very creative family, so it sort of rubbed off on me. Little did I know back then that crafting would turn into one of my passions?

For the past few years I have run a craft group for a lovely group of ladies, which of course has to include the obligatory cup of tea (or two) and a natter. Well, it’s a crafting law.
I really enjoy blogging all about my crafting adventures. And have made many virtual crafty friends, who have taught me so many things too. There is nothing better than being part of a like minded community.

I have been lucky enough to be part of numerous design teams, which has enabled me to enjoy working with different media’s and gain more experience in the crafting field. But I am especially excited about being part of the Tattered Lace design team as I love anything remotely related to die cutting. What a lucky girl I am to be working with such beautiful dies!

Hi, my name is Anna Higginbottom, I'm 44 and live in a village called Wales, near Sheffield.  I'm married to Mark and we've never had children.  At the moment I work part time in a local shop, but I am already looking to take my crafting experience one step further and work in the crafting industry.

I have a real love for learning new things and paper craft is the one thing that I am passionate about and I feel confident enough to be able to share my love of crafting with others.
I have always crafted, I have the first card I ever made in nursery tucked away in the loft.

I left school with no qualifications to speak of and soon decided I didn't want to work in a factory for the rest of my life, so I went back to college to study art and design, but I didn't take my education any further.  I started to make cards for all my family, that was over 20 years ago and I'm still at it, in between I've been back to college and did a couple of years at uni studying archaeological science, I was unable to complete my degree but I loved every minute and  I got to tick off one of my ambitions which was to dig at Stone Henge, which was a life time experience, I also love hiking, and fossil hunting.  I'm definitely a bit quirky, as anyone who knows me will tell you.

My Step Mum has often said to me that I should apply for the various design team calls that pop up now and then on Facebook, so when the Tattered Lace team put a post up on Facebook, I replied back and was floored when I was asked to make some samples. I was worried  that my style was too grungy and shabby for the Tattered Lace team but they soon put me at ease.  One of the most interesting things for me, about using Tattered Lace dies, is how they can be adapted to suit any style.  I love the challenge of coming up with something a bit different and I'm usually to be found messing around in my vector graphics program or one of the other art programs on my computer.

Hi, my name is Gail Lett and live in Preston, Lancashire with my husband and our two daughters. I've been crafting in some shape or form for as long as I can remember, paper crafting has remained a favourite. I find paper crafting enormously relaxing and I can loose myself, and several hours, messing around in my craft room. Nothing better than spending your time surrounded by paper, inks, glitter etc and I'm totally addicted to the Tattered Lace dies.
